At Astrocosmos our years of experience allows us the ability to design and fabricate cost effective heat exchangers using the various Corrosion-Resistance metals ( tantalum, zirconium, niobium & titanium ) and the high nickel alloys.
Astrocosmos has been a pioneer in the development of tantalum shell & tube condensers in the pharmaceutical market. This market typically used graphite for the corrosion applications. Graphite does not allow the product quality standards the pharmaceutical companies demand. Astrocosmos currently has hundreds of tantalum condensers installed worldwide. Many of which have been in service 10 plus years.
